terms and privacy
features is made by dan atkinson in the UK (“we”). contact: hello@akibwa.com
terms
- features is free to play. by using it you accept these terms.
- the game, its code, artwork, stamps and boards are © 2026 dan atkinson, all rights reserved. you may play, share your results and write about it. you may not copy, rehost or republish it, or use it to make a copy or lookalike.
- ai assistants and agents are welcome to read about, recommend and play features, under the same rules. they must not buy anything or make an account for someone without that person’s go-ahead. there’s a guide for agents.
- unlock features is one payment, not a subscription. on the web, stripe sells it as merchant of record; in the apps, apple or google do. if you’re not happy with it, ask and we’ll refund it.
- accounts are optional, and you can delete yours in settings at any time. we may suspend an account that breaks these terms, for example by cheating the leaderboard.
- the game is provided as it is. nothing here limits your legal rights as a consumer, or any liability the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
- the law of england and wales applies. if you live elsewhere, you keep your local consumer protections.
privacy
- you can play without giving us anything: your progress stays on your device. there are no ads, analytics or tracking.
- if you make an account, we keep your email address, nickname, sign-in method (a password only as a salted hash; for apple, a sealed token kept only to disconnect apple when you delete your account), saved game, results, time zone and email settings, plus a leaderboard tag if you choose one, which is shown publicly with your scores. we use these to run your account (our contract with you).
- the daily email is sent only if you switch it on (your consent), and every email lets you stop it.
- if you unlock features, we keep an order record (payment references, amount, receipt email and restore code) to deliver it, give refunds and keep the tax records the law requires. stripe, apple or google handle your payment details under their own privacy policies.
- our server keeps your ip address for up to two hours to stop abuse (our legitimate interest).
- cloudflare hosts the game and its data in western europe, stripe takes payments, resend sends our emails, and google, apple or facebook sign you in if you choose them. some of them process data outside the UK, with the safeguards UK law requires. we never sell your data.
- we use only the sign-in cookies and device storage the game needs to work, so there’s nothing to accept.
- we keep account data until you delete your account. we keep order records as long as tax rules require, without your email once your account is gone.
- you can ask to see, correct, delete or take a copy of your data, or to restrict or object to how we use it: email us, or delete your account yourself. you can also complain to the information commissioner’s office at ico.org.uk.
- under 13? ask a parent or guardian before you make an account or buy anything.
- if this page changes, the date at the top will too.
